2011 BYH FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENTS

ALL REGISTRATION FORMS AND FEES NEED TO BE RECEIVED BY FEB. 1ST. 
 

MITES FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT will be held on February 25 - 27, 2011  at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.    Each team will be scheduled for three games during the weekend.  All tournament games will follow USA Hockey rules.  Each game will be allotted one hour of ice-time.  Games will consist of three twelve-minute periods.  It may be necessary to play running time for part of the third period in order to complete the game within the time allotted.  All teams will be invited to join in a pin exchange prior to one of their games.  At the conclusion of each team's final game, each player will receive a trophy for participating.  

SQUIRTS FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT will be held on March 4 - 6, 2011 at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.   Each team will be scheduled for three games during the weekend.  All tournament games will follow USA Hockey rules.  Each game will be allotted one hour of ice-time.  Games will consist of three twelve-minute periods.  It may be necessary to play running time for part of the third period in order to complete the game within the time allotted.  All teams will be invited to join in a pin exchange prior to one of their games.  At the conclusion of each team's final game, each player will receive a trophy for participating 

PEE WEE FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT will be held on March 18- 20, 2011 at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.   Each team entered in the tournament will be scheduled for three games during the weekend.  Teams will be awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point for each period won during the preliminary tournament rounds.  The top four teams in total points will advance to the semi-final round, where it will be a single eliimination bracket.     Each game during the preliminary section will be allotted one hour of ice-time.  No overtime period will be played until the semi-final round.  Please note this is a checking tournament.

BANTAM FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT will be held on March 11-13, 2011 at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.  Each team entered in the tournament will be scheduled for three games during the weekend.  Teams will be awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point for each period won during the preliminary tournament rounds.  The top four teams in total points will advance to the semi-final round, where it will be a single eliimination bracket.     Each game during the preliminary section will be allotted one hour of ice-time.  No overtime period will be played until the semi-final round. Please note this is a checking tournament.

ALL PLAYERS MUST BE ON A TEAM'S OFFICIAL USA HOCKEY roster in order to participate.   Competitive "B" and "A" players are not eligible to participate in the Friendship Tournament.

Participation for the tournament will require our Registration Form as well as:

a. Copy of the team's official USA Hockey roster
b. Names and jersey numbers for each player
c. Registration fee made out to Bangor Youth Hockey (must be received with registration form)
